I am an observational astrophysicist studying the formation and evolution of galaxies. I am particularly interested in the physical mechanisms which govern the morphological buildup of galaxies and the co-evolution of their structural components (bulges, disks, bars) across cosmic time.

I am part of 10 international collaborations, including the JWST-MIRI Guaranteed Team, the Cosmic Evolution Early Release Science survey (CEERS), the Survey for High-z Absorption Red and Dead Sources (SHARDS), the Stellar Populations at intermediate redshifts Survey (StePS), and the Bulgeless Evolution and the Rise of Disks survey (BEARD).

Check out ΩMEGA (Ωrigin of the Morphological Evolution of GAlaxies), my last project which aims at unveiling the origin of the Hubble sequence combining the state-of-the-art cosmological simulations and observations from the James Webb Space Telescope.
